Buck Island Reef National Monument – St Croix

Buck Island National Monument is a small uninhabited island about one and a half miles off the northeast coast of St. Croix. The 176-acre island, one of the finest marine gardens in the Caribbean Sea, and its surrounding coral reef eco-system is home to a wide variety of native flora and fauna including several endangered species of hawksbill turtles and brown pelicans.  Visitors can enjoy beautiful nature trails, white coral sand beaches, snorkeling, scuba diving, a leisurely swim or a bird’s eye view of this beautiful historic spectacle.
