Fort George – Tobago – A TOURIST IN THE CARIBBEAN

Fort George – Tobago

Fort George is a military post built in the 1770s by the British and sits on the top of a hill overlooking Tobago’s capital city, Scarborough and the Port Authority.  The fort which was once the Barack guard’s home is now home to the Tobago Museum. The museum exhibits Amerindian artifacts, military relics, shells and documents from the colonial period.  The breathtaking sunset views from this well preserved military point makes this a must-see destination on your visit to the island.
