Pigeon Island National Park – A TOURIST IN THE CARIBBEAN

Pigeon Island National Park

This is a must-see when visiting the island with lots of plants and trees. The climb to the top is not long but fairly steep but there are a lot of scenic viewpoints along the way, so the walk up is pretty more or less at your own pace. The park seems to document that it was, at one time, home of the British soldiers. The high point of the visit will be the view of Fort Rodney and on a clear day the neighboring island of Martinique. The beach is somewhat secluded but there are plenty of snorkeling and relaxing on the quiet beach below.
