St. Barts

St. Barts is a French-speaking Caribbean island and one of the most naturally beautiful, peaceful, and safest islands in the Caribbean. With just a harrowing twelve-minute plane ride from St. Marin,  St Barts is known as a real holiday resort for the well-to-do, rich and famous.

It is known for being one of the safest places in the world with virtually no crime on the island. Covering just eight square miles, St Barts is one of the oldest volcanic islands in the Lesser Antilles.

Gustava Habor

The island was discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493 in what was his second voyage to the New World. St Barts enjoys a hot tropical climate together with cool trade winds which help to create a moderate to high climate year-round.

The island sustained severe damage by Hurricane Lima in 2017 but has slowly recovered and has regained most of its originals. Its economic structure is based on core activities in the tourism sector, non-financial commercial services, trade, and construction. St Barts embodies the true nature of The French sophistication and countryside in the Caribbean.

Although the island is known for its lush tropical landscape of soaring mountains, stretches of stunning beaches with crystal clear waters, outstanding restaurants, designer and high-end boutiques, there are still a lot one can do on a fixed budget.

St. Barts Beaches

All beaches are accessible and free to visitors and tourists alike. Activities such as surfing, snorkeling, diving, windsurfing, or sailing all are possible on the island at pretty reasonable prices during the peak and non-peak season.  But if St Barts is your destination of choice get ready to enjoy beach-going, fine dining, lots of drinking, and plenty of duty-free shopping.
