St. Peter’s Church – A TOURIST IN THE CARIBBEAN

St. Peter’s Church

Built-in 1612, it is the oldest surviving Anglican church, where parishioners still worship and the Church is part of the UNESCO World Heritage site. Located in the town of St. George, the church showcases simple architecture with designs from the 17th century still in place. The church surroundings also showcases two segregated cemeteries one for the whites and one for blacks which took place during slavery on the island, more than 300 years ago.
